The softened design in burnished black aluminum hides modern top engineering and high performance technology. The Stereo Receiver AG-H600NT has a tuner section which integrates one of the latest chip developments available which pulls in radio stations via the internet from all over the world. All you need is a DSL connection and your own DSL router … WLAN or Ethernet cable … according to your personal preference. AM, FM RDS Stereo or Digital Radio signals (DAB/DAB+)… the choice is up to you. TEAC has paid special attention to the power supply section of the receiver. A special transformer is used to provide the “Class D” amplifier section with just the right amounts of stable power it needs to get the job done right. Up to 2 x 75 watts of continuous clean power are sent to the connected loudspeakers providing a solid bass foundation, warm midrange tones and crystal clear highs. The receiver offers a set of phono inputs and other input/output terminals on the rear panel. Connect the optional TEAC iPod® Docking Station and play back music or videos from an appropriate iPod®. The Docking Station has all the connector jacks needed and will even recharge your iPod during playback.

TEAC’s engineers also put all of their experience into designing the second piece of the set … the matching CD-Player PD-H600. This source machine performs like a beautiful musical instrument and delivers a pure signal to the receiver. Signal quality is the basis of high quality sound. Precise reading of the digital information in the tracks from the CD is critical to being able to hear everything the recording engineer has mixed in the studio master and the PD-H600 does this job very well. The extremely stable construction, selected key electronic components like the high value Burr-Brown D/A converters and, like in the receiver, a troidal transformer all performing their perfectly timed, assigned individual tasks deliver that high level of audio performance which has built the reputation of TEAC worldwide.

Both displays respond to the touch of a button on the matching system remote control and can be dimmed or turned completely off.
